This Goat is smaller in size and good looking. Buck of this breed is used for fighting purpose, which we think is not good practice.
Below are characteristics of Barbari Goat.
Color – White with red or tan spot
Ears – Small tubular, erect, pricked, upwards and outwards
Horns – Medium and slightly twisted, directed upwards and backward
Weight – buck 25-40 kg and doe 20-30 kg
Kidding – twice in 14 months
Meat – Good in Quality
Milk – Average lactation yield 60-70 liter.
