Jamunapari Goat Breed originates from the Uttar Pradesh, India. Jamuna is also the name of river. This is also known as Etawa Breed.
It is white with tan or black marking on neck and ear. Both Buck and Does have a beard. This is mainly identified by it’s Long and Pendulous ears, turf of long hair in the buttocks and Romon nose.
This is large and long breed. Average body length, height and hearth gorth 87, 96 and 80 cm in bucks and 75, 82 and 75 cm in does.
Buck weight is around 50 to 60 kg and doe 30-40 kg. Kids once a year with single or twins. Age at first kidding around 20-25 months.
Well flavored meat and good milker.
