Surti Goat Breed Information

The surti breed is white in color, but you may find black and brown hair in different parts of the body. It is medium sized breed. Short tail, medium-sized and hanging ears, small backward horn are some of the charectrirsts of this breed.

Body length and heirth girth 60,75, 70 cn in bucks and 65,71 and 71 in does respectively.

weight buck 35and doe 32 kg, birth weight 2.1 kg.

 

Kidding – once a year, single or twins. Average age ar 21 months.

Meat quality good and average lactation yield is 150 kg and length 150 days.
